RULES OF BIG BROTHER DIRTY DOZEN
Welcome to Big Brother: Dirty Dozen. This is a collaborative effort between two seasoned hosts from other series, please take some time to read what we expect and your expectations of ourselves as the hosts. If there are any concerns/questions/queries before, during or after the game we'd welcome a private message to talk about it.
Eligibility
To be eligible to compete you must;
- Be 16 or older and have the following a fully working webcam, microphone and Skype account.
- Have an up to date head & shoulders photograph to be used on the memory wall that will be on the front page of this forum.
- Be able to contribute to the filming schedule and follow through on any extra commitments (punishments, juror voting etc.)
Activity/Strikes
Chosen players will have access to a personal forum known as a Diary Room. Players agree to the following;
- One written and/or video confessional per round. Each round concludes once the eviction results have been announced.
- Cast an eviction vote per round (when required)
Competitions in the game may take place live on Google Hangout, when competing all players agree to the following;
- Being broadcast to a viewing audience.
- Having their face on show at all times unless otherwise directed.
Competitions for the most part will be non-live, players will have 24 hours notice to prepare and compete unless directed.
Once a player has earned three strikes for rule breaking, they will be removed from the competition. Any players who cannot meet their obligations in any round must inform the staff as soon as possible.
If a player is going to be unavailable for the period of one round, they must leave a boot-list of the remaining players ranking from 1 (most want out) to the last person (least want out)
Live In-game Events
There will be one live event each week, picking players for the Power of Veto competition. This will be done at a time directed by the staff, a random generator will be used and those players online will be invited to view the drawing.
Cheating/Unfairness
The team will ensure all players are competing on an equal playing level. If it is believed that there is cheating happening the team will investigate and make a final ruling on the accusation. In the event of cheating, a punishment will be decided based on the severity.
Players are forbidden to use screenshots or use any conversation that was recorded without both parties consent. A punishment will be decided to the involved parties based on the severity.
Additional Players
In the event of a player quitting/being removed from the game an extra player may be drafted in to take their place. This player will have the same level of expectations as the remaining players, however this player for the first round they're in the game will be granted exemption from nomination in his/her first round to allow integration.
Dirty Dozen Team
The staff for the season are across two time zones, Carlos & David (US) and Rob (UK) so there may be the chance you interact with one host over the other. Both hosts will do their utmost to speak to all players each round.
Players will be treated with a high level of professionalism and the staff will only interject when absolutely needed.
